Which class is right?

How do I choose between hip hop and jazz?

Start with the one your dancer asks for. Hip hop is grooves and footwork to music with a beat; jazz is sharper and smoother, with kicks, turns and a longer combination. Many dancers take both, and a trial class is the way to find out.

Which age group does my dancer join?

The age on the schedule, counted on the first day of the session. If your dancer is between two groups, the teacher will suggest one after a trial class, and moving up later is easy.

What is the showcase crew?

A hip hop class for ages 10 to 12 that works on one routine for showcase night. It meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and the teacher decides with you whether it is the right fit.

A trial class is a regular class with a teacher watching. Pick one from the schedule.
